Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Whatever, You Pick across the website, iPhone app, and any related paid features.
Acceptance and scope
By using Whatever, You Pick, you agree to these terms. The service is intended to help people discover restaurants, build a shortlist, vote, and decide where to eat together.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
Accounts and access
Some parts of the product can be browsed without signing in, but an account may be required before starting a meal vote, joining one, or casting votes.
You are responsible for the activity that happens through your account, invite link, or device token and for keeping any sign-in method under your control.
Meal votes, invites, and shared content
When you create or join a meal vote, you may share names, restaurant choices, votes, and other details with the other participants in that vote.
You should only upload or share content that you have the right to use and that is appropriate for a group planning meal decisions.
You retain responsibility for the content you submit, including manually entered restaurant details, participant names, and other information added to a meal vote.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
- Do not interfere with the product, scrape it in a disruptive way, or try to bypass access limits or billing controls.
- Do not upload malicious code, impersonate other people, or misuse shared invite links.
- Do not use the service in a way that could damage the app, its infrastructure, or other users' experience.
Place data, maps, and third-party services
Restaurant, map, sign-in, and billing functionality may rely on third-party providers. Those providers may have their own terms, privacy notices, and service limits.
Place data, hours, ratings, addresses, and sponsor labels may change, be incomplete, or be inaccurate. You should confirm important details directly with the restaurant before relying on them.
Premium features and billing
Whatever, You Pick may offer free and paid features. Premium tools can change over time and may be subject to usage limits, subscription terms, or platform billing rules.
If you purchase premium through Apple or another billing provider, your purchase is also subject to that provider's terms, billing policies, renewal settings, and refund process.
Unless required by law or platform rules, fees already paid are non-refundable once the relevant billing provider has processed the transaction.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or remove features at any time. We may also update pricing, limits, or product details as the service evolves.
We try to keep the product available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every feature will always be available in every environment.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these terms have been violated, if the service is being misused, or if continued access creates risk for the product or its users.
